Profile in Bedrock

Often there is detailed art to be found along the banks of flowing fresh water. This image profile faces the tallest “waterfall” in our creek, about 5-6 feet high. It is on one side of an open area which seems to have been “modified” at some point in time. I have some guesses as to its intended function, but only guesses. I have noticed that faces such as this one tend to stand out from certain angles, and are camouflaged from others . It is as if it has a purpose and is intended to be viewed from specific areas. More to come.

This image is SOOC, no edits. Dog for scale and cuteness.
